Everything Greyhound

This blog has been created for all of those Greyhound, Italian Greyhound, and Whippet addicts out there! These dogs are incredibly smart, incredibly cute, and incredibly special!

I am personally against Greyhound racing. I believe Greyhounds should run for the enjoyment of running,and not used for profit.

I do not claim to know all there is about this breed so feel free to correct me if I'm ever wrong about anything. I also don't take credit for the photos. But I do give the credit to those I found them from.

I’ve wanted to do this for years and I finally pulled the trigger yesterday. :D Ever since I learned about it, I’ve had a mild obsession with the greyhound’s double suspension gallop. Twice in one stride they are completely suspended in air. I took a photo of Dazzle in a front flight phase (left) and Echo in a rear flight phase (right) and used them for the basis of the tattoo. I was rather picky about the design, and the artist was very patient with me. She used dark brown ink. It hurt, but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be. We were done in about half an hour.
